Mace has been working in India since 2009, initially at the request of its international clients, and on the back of these successes the company has now established a full legal entity in the country in early 2011. Mace started working in India for global clients such as the British Government's Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Mumbai and Nokia Siemens Networks for programme management of office fitouts across multiple locations.

Since then Mace has strengthened its presence through a prestigious commission with the Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) to deliver the construction management of the new integrated T2 Terminal interiors, a landmark aviation project which is set to establish new benchmarks in high-quality design and construction of public buildings in India and the region.

Beyond programme and project management, Mace-owned company Macro is providing facilities management services to global client Invesco for its new office facility at Hyderabad. With such diverse experience within a short period, Mace is well positioned to capitalise on the new oportunities that are coming up in its core domains such as aviation, hospitality, commercial officesretail, high-end residential, mixed use developments, sports, transport, infrastructure and public estates projects.

Mace staff in India include expatriates sector specialists, internationally-experienced senior talent from the local Indian market, as well as local managers who together bring in a unique blend of experience and open approach to help raise the benchmark of high quality consultancy services in the marketplace.

As its other 65 countries of operation, Mace is building upon its existing knowledge and resource base to grow the India business over the coming years.
